Here we are back again in Chile! One child more in the luggage and plenty of musical projects, masterclasses and recordings coming up!

It starts with quite a show with

ROBERTO BRAVO & GEORG GRATZER and friends
20th of October - open air - Parque Bicentenario - Santiago de Chile

After that there will be loads of rehearsals and practicing preparing for three concerts
with an amazing 25 people string orchester from the south of Chile and I as a soloist playing mainly Chilean music.

It's done! After recording the album in Chile in September last year, I took the recording with me to Austria to do the mixing and mastering with Johann Steinecker @ Studioworks. He is a real genius when it comes to creating an amazing sound out of acoustic instruments in a classical context.
The complete artwork of the 8 page Digipack is done by my dear friend Carola Gerhard (www.carolagerhard.com)

Since quite some time now people have been asking me: "Why don't you make a CD with relaxing, meditative music?" To be honest, I always kept asking myself, what does that mean exactly? If some music for me personally is relaxing or meditative, does it affect others in the same way?
So when my wife was pregnant with our daughter Mayra I took the opportunity to experiment which kind of music relaxes here and the baby inside. I started to compose and record music and this is the result: 7 songs, deeply inspired by the ancient Indian singing style Dhrupad mixed with electronic soundscapes. It is supposed to be music for pregnant women, babies and all of you who want to relax, switch off, meditate or enjoy an ambient soundscape. Enjoy!!

In September I spent three weeks in Chile recording the album íNTIMO with chilean pianist Roberto Bravo. After some intense rehearsal period we recorded all 16 songs within one day. The mixing process is already started.
The CD release in Chile will be on 12th of March 2016 in Santiago and in Austria on 20th of May 2016 in Weiz as a part of my festival KOMM.ST 1.6

Apart from a lovely holiday with family and friends in Croatia I spent the whole August on composing and recording for the album TRANQUILANDIA. It is about something called "resonant playing", which causes an relaxing effect. But since music is about listening and not about writing about it, please wait till April 2016! Then you can hear it!

Right now I am enjoying my time in Chile rehearsing almost every day with Roberto Bravo. We are working on our new program called ÍNTIMO which will be presented on the 29th of March at Gran Casino Talca. Music from Ennio Morricone, Astor Piazzolla, Violeta Parra and Victor Jara. So much fun!!

The first NOCHES MUSICAL at Lake Vichuquén (about four hours in the south-west of Santiago de Chile) were a great success!
The whole three day festival was organized in the very, but very last minute. But the less time you have the more efficient you work. The Teatro Regional del Maule as well as Municipalidad Vichuquén did an amazing job.

I presented together with the fantastic chilean Bass player Alekos Vuskovic a new programm mixing chilean music from Inti Illimani, Violata Parra and Victor Jara with Jazz and indian influences.

At this year's Festival KOMM.ST I had the great opportunity to invite my dear friend, the south indian singer and Morchang-virtuoso Mahesh Vinayakram (www.maheshvinayakram.com), to play a concert together at my local church in Anger, Austria.

We had a fantastic and intense week together exploring new music, putting together the LOOP YOGA Show and enjoying rides on electric bycicles!!!

In October and November I was invited to play a couple of concerts in Austria and India with my dear friend, the south indian singer mind blowing Mahesh Vinayakram.

In our new project called "LOOP YOGA" we deal with indian and western spiritual music, an encounter of Indian Classical Music and Mantras with Gregorian Chants and Musica Sacra.

We all had a fantastic time in China. Performing at the International Music Festival in Macao and after that twice at the New Vision Art Festival - Music Beyond Borders in Hong Kong was a very special experience.

After last year my festival KOMM.ST took place for the second time in the middle of the beautiful Austrian countryside.
Through an artist in residence project called TEN DAYS TEN ARTISTS financed by the EU (European Union) it was possible to bring artists from Japan, France, Slovenia or Colombia to the festival. During two weeks we had an exhibition by W. W. Anger located in seven different places, theatre, concerts, and all together more than 20 artists performing, meeting people, working and enjoying this unique atmosphere.
